A special weather statement has been issued. There is a slight chance for a thunderstorm this afternoon over central Wisconsin. The risk for strong storms is low. Areas of fog over Lake Michigan, mainly south of Sturgeon Bay, may locally dense near Lake Michigan through late morning. Areas of fog across much of the area tonight could become locally dense. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday There is a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon from central to north-central Wisconsin. The risk for strong storms is low. There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening. Severe storms are possible. The fog may expand over the bay this evening, continuing through the night. Dense fog is possible at times. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could become severe. The primary hazards will be large hail and damaging winds. Hazardous conditions for small craft are possible Thursday night through Friday night due to high waves and winds, particularly for Lake Michigan nearshore waters. $$ MRC |
