Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to persist through Wednesday evening into the overnight hours. Heavy rain and spotty flooding is the main concern, however severe storms with winds up to 60 mph and hail as large as quarters will be possible close to the Kansas-Nebraska border between 6 pm and midnight.
