This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered snow showers could make travel hazardous late this morning
and during the afternoon as a strong upper level disturbance moves
across the area. Most places will only receive a dusting to half
inch, but narrow bands of moderate to heavy snow could produce a
quick inch or two of snow.

Northwest winds will gust to 40 mph or more this afternoon and
make driving large vehicles difficult. Northwest winds gusting to
45 mph or more could produce minor tree and power line damage in
the Lake Michigan counties tonight.

Significant lake effect snow is expected in Vilas county tonight,
with 3 to 6 inches in most places, and 8 inches or more possible
in the northwest part of the county. Northwest winds gusting over
30 mph could produce significant blowing and drifting and
hazardous travel.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Colder air behind the snow will bring wind chills into zero to 10
below range for early Thursday morning.

Michigan and the waters of Green Bay.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Conditions hazardous to small craft are expected through early
afternoon. A Gale warning is in effect from late this afternoon
through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Northwest gales will continue Thursday morning.
