This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Snow is expected to move into central and north central Wisconsin
this evening and eastern Wisconsin mainly after midnight. As warmer
air aloft moves into the region later tonight, the snow will mix
with sleet and freezing rain especially in the Fox Valley and
lakeshore areas. Areas north of a Wausau to Antigo to Pembine
line could see 3 to 5 inches of snow, with 1 to 3 inches south of
this line to a Coloma to Clintonville to Sturgeon Bay line,
further south an inch or less of snow is expected but a tenth of
an inch of sleet or freezing rain is possible. Travel could be
difficult for the Friday morning commute. Air travel delays are

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Thursday

A potentially stronger system is forecast to bring a second round
of wintry weather to the region Saturday afternoon into Sunday
morning. There continues to be some uncertainty as to the eventual
track of this system which would impact precipitation types and
snow accumulations. Anyone with travel plans, especially over the
northwest half of Wisconsin, should closely monitor later
forecasts and statements.


Spotters are requested to forward snow and ice measurements to the
National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Michigan and the waters of Green Bay.

West to southwest gales are possible Sunday as a strong winter
storm moves across the western Great Lakes states.
