6AM 11/3 - Here's a look at October weather across our area! For the 14th month in a row, all 7 climate sites were warmer than average, and significantly so this time. October was generally between 6 and 9 degrees warmer than average. Cheyenne recorded its warmest October on record, while Laramie, Rawlins, Scottsbluff, and Sidney all scored their 2nd warmest October. Precipitation was a mixed bag. Rawlins, Laramie, and Chadron leaned wet last month, while Cheyenne, Scottsbluff, Sidney, and Alliance all fell short of their average October rainfall. Snow was also sparse, with Scottsbluff recording 0.5", and Cheyenne picking up just a trace.
