An incoming weather system this weekend will bring valley rain and mountain snow across northern and central Nevada. The best chances for at least a half-inch of snow over regional summits arrive late Saturday night through Sunday morning, peaking around 50% to 55% at Austin Summit and Garden Pass. Minor accumulations are also possible across Bob Scotts and Pinto summits before snow tapers off Sunday evening. Check road conditions and take it slow if driving over mountain passes this weekend.
