Dangerous late season heat continues through the end of the week. Several record high temperatures and warm lows will be in jeopardy. NWS HeatRisk levels of Major (level 3) to Extreme (level 4) are forecast through at least Friday. Extreme HeatRisk levels are when significant impacts to healthcare systems are possible. If you have outdoor activities planned, consider alternate arrangements to reduce heat exposure and implement heat mitigation plans.
