More scattered showers and thunderstorms will spread north across the area this evening and tonight. While a few storms could briefly have small hail or gusty winds 40-50 mph, we'll mainly be watching for locally heavy downpours. Where a quick inch or two of rain falls in the course of an hour, we could see some localized flooding of streets and poor drainage areas, especially across portions of northern KS that saw heavy rain last night.
