A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for the Upper Keys and a Coastal Flood Statement is in effect for the Middle and Lower Keys Through 5 AM Wednesday. Higher high tides will run approximately 1.5 to almost 2 feet above normal in the advisory area and around 1 to 1.5 feet in the statement area. This will lead to areas where driving through saltwater may be unavoidable. Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots is expected with some roads possibly becoming impassable. Storm drains will overflow and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters will see less clearance under bridges.
