Chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue into the weekend. While severe storms are not expected, locally heavy rain and gusty winds are possible with any storm. While northern portions of the area will get a break from the high heat today and Friday, hot and humid conditions will continue for much of the southern portions of central Indiana.
