Widespread soaking rainfall is likely early Sunday morning through Monday morning across much of central and western New Mexico. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of precipitation is expected for most areas, but near 3 inches is expected around Chama and in the mountains near Glenwood. Rain on already saturated soils will increase runoff and the potential for flooding. On Monday above 9000 feet, rain will turn to snow as cooler air moves in.
