Warm early summer weather is expected through the weekend with high temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the middle 80s. There will be daily chances of showers and thunderstorms. Some shower and storms will move into southeast Missouri late Thursday afternoon and then spread over the entire region Thursday night into Friday. Over the weekend, isolated to scattered afternoon showers and storms will be possible each day. Isolated heavy rainfall and lightning will be the primary thunderstorm impacts through the period.
